MOVING BACK TO UNI

Recently, I went back to uni after a wonderful Christmas holiday back home with my family and it kinda sucked.

Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Well, the period from October to January is my favourite time of the year. There is just too much to enjoy at that time; Halloween and scary films, autumn and the change of colour, and Christmas especially!

Christmas is amazing for so many reasons. Different families have different things they do every year together. I enjoy hearing how other people spend their time over the Christmas period. This year we continued our traditions (made a couple since the last Christmas post) and enjoyed eating lots of good food all day long. This year we had lots of cheese to get through!

As much as I love learning about the veterinary profession and having my independence, it is very hard work and I was very glad to have spent three weeks at home being fed and not having to worry about anything. I had lots of free time for once and it was lovely.

This post is basically for me to say that I am going to miss Christmas and being at home and that is okay. It will come around again and I will be able to spend some downtime with my family. But for now, it's back to reality and working hard.

Happy New Year!...

...And don't forget to smile! x
