This week I have gone from wanting to get up at 6am, run 10 miles and be able to do 5K in 3 minutes to just wanting to sit in my bed all day eating cake and chocolate and all things unhealthy. I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about body confidence and being comfortable in your own skin.

I know for a fact that I'm not the only person who feels conscious of their body growing up. Pretty much everybody goes through a stage in their life where they don't like their body and that's completely normal. Hormones are funny things, after all. I now feel like I have come out of this phase and am happy being in my own skin.

Of course I still have the odd day where I can't find anything I want to wear that day because I think I look horrible in absolutely everything, but that isn't very often. I am proud to say I am happy with my body and I don't care what others think. It's my body and I can have it any shape or way I want. Other people don't have a say on it and that's what I want to make people aware of.

You are the most important person in your life and you make the decisions. As long as if you are happy and healthy and not harming you or your body, then who cares what others think? If you like your curves, your belly, your slenderness, your ANYTHING then why should you change yourself for someone else? Answer: YOU SHOULDN'T!

I hope this little post has made you feel better about your body and I hope you can be comfortable with your body because you deserve nothing less. You are beautiful as you are and you should never change anything about yourself for anyone else.
